Career Coaching
Are you tired of endless resume submissions with no reply, being ghosted after information interviews, and feeling as if you are screaming into the void? Then we should chat.
I want to share with you my years of experience in navigating the unique public policy job market of Washington, D.C. and move you closer to a more fulfilling career.
Why Me?
Whether you are just graduating and struggling to find that job where your passions and abilities align or looking to transfer your life experiences and skills into a second career that will make an impact on society, you should know that I have been in your shoes. As a mom of two I made the difficult decision of making a career transition in my thirties from social work practice to federal policy.
This meant starting over and navigating the unique and unfamiliar public policy job sector in Washington, D.C. Through this experience I learned that unless you are well connected or can afford to work for free, there are few on-ramps for many who wish to utilize their practice expertise or lived experiences to impact society through public policy.
Fortunately, through time, trial and error I was able to break through the black box and land a career that is both challenging and fulfilling. Because of this I want to share with you what I have learned through job searching, networking, applying and interviewing in Washington D.C.
I would love the opportunity to work with you and learn more about your desire to begin a fulfilling career.
